FDI upto100 per cent in cold storage and warehouse is also one big reason for boost in this business.

I just got my greencard which is valid for 2 yrs then I'll have to apply to get the condition removed since I was granted the greencard on the basis of marriage to a citizen. I need to know if I'll get a paycheck while in bootcamp. I have a car payment ($ 270), a loan ($ 220), insurance ($ 77), medical bill ($ 80), 3 credit cards ($ 200). So, I basically need atleast $ 900 a month assuming I move out of my apartment. But how can I be sure that I'll get accepted by the military such that I can go ahead and give notice that I'm moving out? Also, I have to give 2 weeks notice at both my jobs.....what to do? what to do?! I have an MBA but little relevant work experience so I do warehouse and production work. I really want to take advantage of the education and career opportunities even though I understand these are limited for greencard holders. Also, I am 5 '2 and 170 pounds. I know I'm overweight but I'm not sure how fit I have to be if 50 year old grandpas with beer bellies are getting in. Best answer for I live pay check to pay check and am considering joining the army.?:

Be all that you can be. You are respected in my book for wanting to join the military for all it's purposes to protect our freedom. oh- and there are many that serve without citizenship.

Yes, you'll get a paycheck while you're in training. I think it's great that you want to serve, but be sure that's what you want to do. It's an 8-year committment. And right now, you have Iraq looming in your future if you join. So just be sure that this is what you'd want to do. As an E-1, you'd make $ 1,203.90 base pay.

You have an MBA and you are working in a wharehouse? Anyway.... You may be elligible for Officer Candidate School in the Armed Services. Even if you didn't go that route I am sure you will make enough per month as brand new enlisted man to meet your expenses. Have you talked with a recruiter yet? That would be your best bet. Don't limit yourself to just the Army, look at the other branches and see what each has to offer. I was in the Army for many years and learned one thing rather quickly.... The Air Force takes better care of their people.
